Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support long-term application development and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile methodologies, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business functions, processes, and requirements using Agile methodologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, objectives, and operational challenges
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Support system design and implementation in collaboration with development teams
• Analyze integration of business processes with technology solutions
• Identify and document business processes within legacy systems
• Create and maintain user stories and manage the product backlog
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong experience in:
  • Requirements elicitation and documentation
  • Writing user stories and managing product backlogs
  • Supporting complex project implementations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on government or public sector modernization projects
• Experience with legacy system analysis and documentation
• Business Analysis certifications such as PMI-PBA or CBAP
• Experience in QA/testing of application software
• Ability to create:
  • Operating procedures
  • User guides and training materials
  • Wireframes/mockups (e.g., Figma)
