Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Variable | Evenings/Nights

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, delivering direct patient care and supporting daily clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established care plans
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and minor procedures
• Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Colorado (CO) LPN License or Compact State License
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience in LTC or similar setting
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
