Job Title: Registered Nurse – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)

Location: Cape Coral, FL
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 12-Hour Days (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM) + Call

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in maternal and newborn care and be comfortable managing both laboring patients and postpartum assignments in a dynamic environment.

Unit Details:

• 24-bed LDRP unit
• OB Maternal Level 2 | Nursery Level 1

Patient Ratios:

• Labor & Delivery: 1–2:1
• Postpartum: 3–4:1

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
• Assist with deliveries and provide immediate newborn care
• Manage postpartum recovery and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR

Call Requirement:

• 12 hours of call per calendar month

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
• Active RN license (state-specific or compact as applicable)
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (required)
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Degree accreditation must be on profile or candidate must have 5+ years of experience
