Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic radiology department. The ideal candidate will have experience in both general radiography and surgical imaging, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Scheduling Details:

• Shift: 5x8-hour shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
• Provide imaging support for surgical procedures (evening coverage required)
• Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols
• Maintain and operate radiologic equipment effectively
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical teams
• Accurately document procedures in EMR systems
• Ensure high standards of patient care and safety

Requirements:

• ARRT (R) Certification (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in radiography
• Surgery (OR) imaging experience required
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
