Duration: 8 Weeks (Initial)
Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12 (36 Hours/Week) | Open Availability Required
Job Type: Travel / Part-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services within a correctional facility setting. The RN will deliver patient care, administer medications, support providers, and ensure the health and safety of residents in a structured and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Execute provider orders and assist during examinations and procedures
• Conduct sick calls and prepare patients for evaluation
• Monitor and manage acute and chronic health conditions
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with providers
• Supervise and support LPNs and other healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and correctional standards
• Provide patient education and health counseling
• Monitor hospitalizations and coordinate follow-up care

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN license in the state of employment
• Valid Driver’s License

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred
