Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst – Project Lead (Contract)

Location: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst – Project Lead to support large-scale, complex initiatives within a healthcare-focused environment. This role involves leading QA efforts, developing testing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute quality assurance and testing activities across projects
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
  • Perform functional, regression, usability, and negative testing
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and recommend solutions
  • Design and execute automated test scripts where applicable
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) support and coordination
  • Maintain defect tracking systems and provide status reporting on issues and risks
  • Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to improve system performance and quality
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, governance policies, and best practices
  • Perform walkthroughs, reviews, and inspections to ensure quality compliance
  • Create and maintain QA documentation and reporting artifacts

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
  • Minimum 3 years of experience building and executing test cases in test systems
  • Minimum 2 years of experience testing IBM Curam applications
  • Strong experience in defect tracking, reporting, and communication with development teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in large enterprise or e-business systems
  • Experience in healthcare or Medicaid environments
  • Proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience working in both Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile environments
  • Relevant technical or project management certifications
