Job Title: Social Services / Behavioral Health (LCSW) – Emergency Department

Location: Falmouth, MA 02540

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 3 Days per Week (30 Hours)
• Rotating Schedule (Includes Every Other Weekend & Holiday)

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Behavioral Health professional to provide mental health support within a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. This role involves assessing patients, developing treatment plans, supporting crisis intervention, and ensuring safe discharge with appropriate follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments for patients in the Emergency Department
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling
• Support discharge planning and coordinate referrals to community resources
• Manage crisis situations and provide immediate intervention
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams

Required Qualifications

• Valid licensure in one of the following:
  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
  • LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker)
  • LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)
  • LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)
  • PhD in a related field
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
