Compensation: $120,000 to $140,689 annually

Position Overview

A leading healthcare organization in New York City is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) with a strong background in chemistry lab operations and team leadership. This role is responsible for supervising daily laboratory functions, ensuring quality standards, and supporting efficient workflow within the chemistry department.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the chemistry laboratory
• Ensure accurate, timely testing and reporting of laboratory results
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory staff
• Monitor workflow, inventory, and documentation processes
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and outcomes

Qualifications

• Valid Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) license
• Minimum 4 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related physical science
  (Equivalent experience of 5+ years in a clinical lab setting may be considered)
• At least 2 years of experience overseeing lab operations
• Prior supervisory or management experience (3+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of chemistry lab procedures and regulatory compliance
