Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Sugar Land, TX

Job Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process. This role involves performing assessments, assisting with procedures, educating patients, and maintaining accurate medical records in a fast-paced surgical and procedural environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and accurately document findings
  • Assist physicians during examinations and surgical or procedural treatments
  • Educate patients on procedures, post-operative care, and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Ensure adherence to clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a safe and patient-centered care environment

Required Experience and Skills

  • Experience in the following surgical and procedural areas:
    • General Surgery
    • Gynecology (GYN)
    • Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
    • Orthopedics
    • Urology
    • Vascular procedures
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Robotics-assisted procedures
    • Mako Robotics
    • Total joint replacement surgeries
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Neuro Spine Surgery
  • Experience in Pediatrics
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Licensure and Certification

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
