Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both front-office and back-office operations in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and administrative capabilities, contribute to efficient workflow, and deliver high-quality patient care. A collaborative mindset and commitment to patient education and community health are essential for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet, room, and assist patients during clinic visits
  • Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls and communications
  • Accurately obtain and record vital signs
  • Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
  • Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
  • Administer vaccines and assist with clinical procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR systems
  • Provide support across both front-office and back-office functions
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included)
  • Current BLS or CPR certification
  • Hands-on experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
