Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics
Location: New York, NY
Pay Rate: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
Weekly Hours: 36 – 40 hours

Schedule:

• Shift: Night Shift
• Hours per Day: 11.5 hours
• Days per Week: 3 days

Duration: 14 weeks (with strong potential for extension or permanent placement)

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in an acute care setting. In this role, you will deliver individualized patient care, support recovery, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Provide direct bedside nursing care to pediatric patients
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform wound care, IV insertions, and catheterization
• Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly
• Operate and adjust medical equipment as required
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery care
• Adhere to nursing standards, safety protocols, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of New York)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited institution

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Rehab experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Most recent experience must be within the past 1 year
• Strong clinical background in patient care and treatment
• Experience working with diverse patient populations
