Job Title: EEG Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46202, USA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating 3x12-Hour Shifts (Day & Night)

Schedule Details:

  • Day Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM
  • Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Note: Initial training may require 5x8-hour day shifts; no block scheduling. Must be flexible to float between facilities, including pediatric settings.

Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join a neurodiagnostics team in a short-term acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience performing advanced EEG procedures across diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult patients. This role involves working in multiple units, supporting critical neurological monitoring cases, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and continuous EEG monitoring
  • Conduct specialized procedures, including sEEG and Ictal SPECT
  • Monitor patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
  • Support neurotelemetry and critical care cases
  • Apply EEG electrodes using collodion/glue techniques
  • Work with trauma and critical care patients
  • Accurately document findings in the EMR system
  • Collaborate with neurologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Float between units/facilities as required

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of EEG Technician experience
  • Experience with both adult and pediatric populations
  • Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and dynamic clinical environments
  • First-time travel professionals are welcome if requirements are met

Certifications Required:

  • ABRET Certification
  • R.EEG T Credential
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
