Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse / House Supervisor

Location: Onsite (Montour Falls, NY area)
Shift: Nights (3 x 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse / House Supervisor to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department while also supporting hospital-wide operations.

This role requires strong clinical expertise across all age groups, the ability to make critical decisions under pressure, and the flexibility to function both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan, from infants to elderly
• Perform accurate triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
• Identify and manage critical conditions, including stroke and STEMI
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Operate effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Serve in a House Supervisor capacity, supporting hospital operations and staffing needs
• Assist with Med/Surg unit operations as required
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality measures

Schedule

• Night Shift
• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends required

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in emergency room nursing
• Proficiency in triage, stroke management, and STEMI protocols
• Ability to care for diverse patient populations across all age groups
• Leadership experience or ability to function in a House Supervisor role
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
