Pay Rate: $22 – $24 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility in Rockaway, NY. This 13-week contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality care and support to residents during the morning shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs; promptly report any changes in condition
• Promote residents’ comfort, dignity, and overall well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to follow individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CNA experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Active CNA license in the state of New York
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
