Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to deliver high-quality breast imaging services, including 2D/3D mammography and DEXA (bone density) exams. This role is responsible for ensuring patient safety, producing accurate diagnostic images, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise along with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to support early detection and diagnosis of breast conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D)
• Conduct DEXA scans (spine, hip, forearm) per physician orders
• Prepare and educate patients on procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding
• Verify physician orders, prior imaging, and patient history for accuracy
• Ensure proper patient identification using two identifiers
• Operate mammography and stereotactic equipment safely and effectively
• Evaluate image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain compliance with MQSA and ACR standards through QA/QC processes
• Perform and document daily, weekly, and periodic quality control checks
• Manage PACS workflows, including image transfer and exam documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams for optimal patient care
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues promptly
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality
• Assist with inventory and supply management

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program
• ARRT Certification (Radiography & Mammography required)
• Active State License in Radiology & Mammography (as applicable)
• Current BLS Certification
• Experience with 3D Mammography (Tomosynthesis)
• Strong understanding of MQSA and ACR standards
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced ARRT Certification in Bone Density (DEXA)
• Experience with stereotactic procedures
• Proficiency in PACS and EMR systems
