Job Title: Travel CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details

  • Weekly Hours: 32, 36, or 40 hours
  • Primary Schedule: Every Saturday & Sunday (16-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
  • Additional Hours: Optional 4 or 8-hour shift available during the week (flexible scheduling)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures across designated anatomical areas as ordered by physicians. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care while adhering to radiation safety standards.

This is a travel assignment, and candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to be eligible.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures with precision and independent judgment
  • Operate CT scanners and control consoles for diagnostic imaging
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques based on physician orders
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and use of immobilization devices
  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, including calibration checks
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy
  • Explain procedures to patients and address concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff during procedures as needed
  • Administer contrast media when trained and authorized
  • Maintain accurate documentation and radiology records
  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols
  • Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure
  • Coordinate workflow to maintain efficiency and timely imaging completion
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Program
  • ARRT certification required
  • Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control required
  • CT certification (ARRT CT or accredited CT program) required
  • Minimum:
    • 3 years of Radiologic Technologist experience OR
    • 1 year of recent CT Tech experience (within the last 5 years)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Must meet travel eligibility requirement (outside 50-mile radius)
