Pay Rate: $2,000 – $2,716 per week (based on experience)

• Shift Type: Night Shift
• Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours per Day: 12 hours
• Days per Week: 3
• Total Hours: 36 hours/week
• Schedule Notes: Rotating schedule, every other weekend and holiday required

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care in an acute care setting. This role involves ventilator management, airway support, diagnostic procedures, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize cardiopulmonary outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions
• Initiate, monitor, and adjust ventilatory support using lung-protective strategies
• Perform diagnostic procedures (ABGs, sputum collection, spirometry, capnography)
• Monitor patients during intra- and inter-hospital transport
• Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response events
• Assist with intubations, conscious sedation, and airway management
• Administer therapeutic gases including oxygen, Heliox, and high-flow therapy
• Support bronchoscopies across multiple care settings (ICU, ER, OR, etc.)
• Provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, including airway management
• Maintain and manage artificial airways and perform suctioning procedures
• Assist with tracheostomy care and tube changes
• Administer aerosolized medications and non-invasive ventilation
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute clinical insights
• Accurately document patient care in EMR systems
• Train and mentor new staff and students as needed
• Ensure proper maintenance of respiratory equipment and supplies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and service excellence

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy License
• Current BLS Certification
• NRP Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
