Job Title: Registered Nurse – NICU
Location: Ithaca, NY 14850
Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)
Schedule: Night Shift | 36 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to neonatal patients within a Maternal Child Health setting. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for newborns and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Support respiratory and critical care needs of neonatal patients
• Educate and support families regarding patient care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare teams
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of NICU experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (AASN) or higher

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Active New York RN License (required at time of submission)
