Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Location: Dallas, TX 75231
Shift: Day Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8.5 hours/day, 42.5 hours/week)
Duration: 13 weeks (Travel Assignment)
Unit: Surgery

Position Summary

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) with strong expertise in open heart and endovascular procedures. This role requires working in a high-volume surgical environment, supporting complex cardiovascular surgeries, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in open heart and endovascular surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
• Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures
• Operate and assist with advanced cardiac devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO)
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to surgical protocols
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Participate in on-call and holiday coverage as required

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Strong CVOR experience (open heart and endovascular required)
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume operating room settings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
