Job Title: Assistant – Financial Aid
Location: Iselin, NJ
Duration: 103 Weeks (Estimated)

Shift & Schedule:

• Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 5 Days/Week (40 hours/week)
• Onsite role (occasional late evenings may be required)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Aid Assistant to support daily financial aid operations. This role involves assisting students with financial aid processes, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate and efficient support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in administering student financial aid programs
• Guide students through financial aid applications and processes
• Prepare and distribute financial aid materials and documentation
• Maintain accurate records for scholarships and aid programs
• Process financial aid packages, including loans and reconciliations
• Handle FAFSA, state grants, and related programs
• Collaborate with admissions, registration, and finance teams
• Perform data entry and manage records using MS Office tools
• Support student services events such as orientations and graduations
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and internal teams

Required Qualifications

• Prior administrative or office experience
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Experience with data entry and systems such as PeopleSoft
• Knowledge of FAFSA and financial aid processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an academic or financial aid setting
• Familiarity with student loan processing and reconciliation
