Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends Required

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services in a hospital setting. This role involves delivering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory services while working closely with physicians and healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy services under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
  • Assist with intubation procedures and manage ventilator setup and monitoring
  • Evaluate patient needs through assessment, testing, and collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment usage
  • Document all treatments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
  • Build strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and organizational standards
  • Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Certifications & Licensure

  • BLS (AHA) required
  • ACLS required
  • PALS required
  • Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License
  • Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
