Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Services

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, 30342
Shift: Day Shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Schedule: 5 days/week (40 hours)
Duration: 12 weeks

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join an outpatient gynecologic oncology clinic within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, outpatient or acute care experience, and the ability to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient oncology setting.
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
• Manage patient flow to support efficient clinic operations.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience within the specialty.
• Acute care experience required (Med-Surg RN experience accepted).
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Reliable and adaptable to schedule changes.
• Oncology or outpatient experience strongly preferred.

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
