Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Shift: Day Shift – 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have previous travel nursing experience, strong surgical skills, and prior Level 1 trauma exposure. Burn unit experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for trauma and surgical patients
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper sterile technique and safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support complex procedures
• Administer medications and manage patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records in compliance with standards
• Participate in call rotations, weekend shifts, and holiday coverage

Key Requirements:

• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Strong skills in surgical nursing and high rating on skills checklist
• BLS certification required
• Burn unit experience preferred
