Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide professional supervision and support to social workers in a specialized clinical program. This role focuses on enhancing clinical skills, promoting professional development, and supporting emotional well-being through structured one-on-one sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular 45-minute one-on-one supervision sessions with clinical staff
  • Support social workers in developing self-awareness, clinical judgment, and quality of care
  • Provide guidance on managing work-related stress, including strategies to address vicarious trauma
  • Identify individual learning needs and develop tailored skill-building plans
  • Promote professional growth by reinforcing clinical best practices and knowledge application
  • Facilitate discussions on personal and professional factors such as values, culture, transference, and countertransference
  • Assist in setting individualized development goals for supervisees
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all supervision sessions
  • Collaborate with program leadership to ensure consistency in supervision practices and expectations

Required Qualifications

  • Active New York State LCSW license (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing clinical supervision to LMSWs
  • Experience supporting individuals affected by grief, trauma, or substance-related loss
  • Prior experience in a medical-legal or similar professional setting

Education

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field (required)
