Job Description:

RN Med-Surg Oncology

Position Type: Perm/Contingent
Shifts:

• Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Oncology RN to provide patient-centered care in a Med-Surg environment. This role requires clinical assessments, autonomous treatment management, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive data relevant to the patient’s health and situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and patient care needs.
• Develop individualized patient care plans with expected outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required.
• Licensure: Florida RN license or approved multistate (compact) RN license. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida licensure after relocation.
• Certifications: Current BLS required; ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire).
• Education: BSN preferred.

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 – 1:6

Compensation:

• Salary: $30.89/hr (1 year experience) – $43.25/hr (15+ years experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Days / $15,000 Nights
