"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Emergency Services to lead operations within a high-acuity Emergency Department. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical and operational performance, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care delivery in a fast-paced ER environment. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance efficiency, patient outcomes, and departmental performance.
Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate Emergency Department operations
Lead and manage nursing staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve care quality and operational efficiency
Maintain strong communication with staff, patients, and leadership
Oversee patient care delivery in alignment with clinical standards and hospital policies
Manage physician relationships and resolve operational and patient care issues
Participate in budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation
Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor departmental performance
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership/management experience
Strong background in Emergency Department (ED/ER) settings
Experience in staff supervision, budgeting, and operations management
Preferred:
Advanced degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
Required:
Active RN License (Texas or Compact)
BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
ACLS & PALS (within 6 months of hire)
Required Within Timeline:
TNCC (within 18 months)
ENPC or CEN (within 18 months)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Expertise in emergency care operations and patient flow
Ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Knowledge of quality improvement and regulatory compliance
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively
