Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $2,600 – $2,900/week (Based on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a procedural imaging environment. The RN will support interventional procedures, ensure patient safety, and assist with both pre- and post-procedure care.
Assist with interventional radiology procedures and patient care
Perform patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review
Prepare and administer medications, including drawing up Lidocaine
Provide patient education and explain procedures prior to exams
Monitor patients during and after procedures for safety and comfort
Assist with biopsy procedures, including dressing and applying pressure to sites
Coordinate and send pathology specimens to the radiologist
Document pathology results and patient information accurately
Conduct follow-up calls for patients with abnormal mammography results
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Provide compassionate patient support throughout procedures
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
