Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Travel Contract)
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Travel Rate: $2,174 per week (negotiable based on experience)
Local Rate: $1,794 per week (negotiable based on experience)
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular intensive care setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage critically ill patients while supporting varying patient ratios as needed.
Provide direct care to critically ill cardiac patients in the CVICU
Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Manage varying patient ratios as required by unit needs
Accurately document patient care using electronic medical records (EPIC)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific, must be in hand)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
CVICU experience preferred
Experience with EPIC charting system required
