Job Title: Anesthesia Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY (13210)
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Pay Rate: $40 – $43/hour
Schedule: 5 Shifts/Week | 8 Hours/Shift (40 Hours/Week)
Shift Timing: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Occasional rotation to 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and experienced Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesia services in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role involves preparing equipment, assisting during procedures, and ensuring safe, efficient operations across procedural areas.
Prepare operating rooms for anesthesia procedures, including complex and invasive cases
Perform room turnovers and ensure readiness for upcoming cases
Assist anesthesia providers with procedures such as arterial lines and central venous catheter (CVC) placements
Troubleshoot and maintain anesthesia machines and related equipment
Handle sterile trays using proper aseptic and sterile techniques
Maintain and restock anesthesia carts, supplies, and equipment
Follow infection control protocols related to anesthesia equipment and supplies
Manage inventory and ordering of anesthesia-related supplies
Provide support across multiple locations where anesthesia services are delivered
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist preferred
Experience in high-acuity or trauma settings preferred
Exposure to acute cardiac cases is a plus
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, sterilization, and equipment reprocessing
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
ASATT Certification (Anesthesia Technologist) required
BLS/CPR Certification required
