Schedule: 3–4 Days/Week | 12.5-Hour Shifts
Shift Timing: 07:30 AM – 08:00 PM
Pay Rate: $55 – $60 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) care. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative patients
Administer and document medications in accordance with established protocols
Perform clinical procedures including wound care, IV insertion, and catheterization
Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any adverse reactions or changes in condition
Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment as required
Collaborate with care teams on discharge planning and patient transitions
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and documentation
Adhere to established nursing standards, policies, and best practices
Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg experience in:
A large acute care hospital setting OR
A post-acute or acute care facility
Recent experience within the past one (1) year required
Strong skills in:
Physical assessment
Medication administration
IV therapy
Wound care and infection control
Post-operative care
Patient education
Telemetry monitoring
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (required for select units)
