Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele)
Location: Massena, NY (13662)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $48 – $53 per hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: Night Shift
Shift Timing: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shifts: 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, with a focus on monitoring and managing patients with complex medical conditions.
Provide direct patient care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and accurately interpret dysrhythmias
Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products as required
Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IVs
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
Respond effectively to rapid response and code situations
Deliver respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and oxygen therapy
Maintain infection control standards and isolation precautions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EPIC system
Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Required)
Prior experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit (Required)
Strong competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Experience with critical care procedures and high-acuity patient management
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system (Required)
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
BLS Certification (Required)
ACLS Certification (Required)
