Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
One weekend per month required
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hour

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to help patients of all ages develop, recover, and maintain skills required for daily living and working. This role focuses on enhancing patient independence and improving overall quality of life through individualized therapy programs.
Administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure effective care.
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports.
Participate in clinical rounds, meetings, and interdisciplinary discussions.
Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals and progress.
Maintain therapy equipment and ensure proper use of supplies.
Participate in staff education and training programs as needed.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience
Licensure:
Active New York State Occupational Therapy License required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
Weekend rotation required (approximately once per month).
Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach.
