Pay Rate: $50 – $52 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform or assist in ultrasound examinations, provide technical support to Radiologists, and maintain ultrasound equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care in compliance with established protocols.
Prepare and examine patients, verifying identity and reviewing medical history in accordance with departmental procedures.
Confirm that ultrasound examinations correlate with patient clinical history and inform the physician of any contraindications.
Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment; report malfunctions and ensure safety precautions.
Communicate effectively with patients, representatives, and staff; explain procedures and answer general questions.
Develop or modify procedure plans based on patient health status, using professional judgment to optimize exam results.
Analyze sonographic findings to ensure comprehensive exams suitable for diagnosis; perform measurements per laboratory and ACR guidelines.
Notify healthcare providers when immediate medical attention is required.
Record diagnostic images and data for physician review and archival purposes; provide oral summaries of preliminary findings.
Maintain adequate supplies and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Assist in orienting and mentoring new Ultrasound personnel.
Perform other administrative duties as needed, including answering phones, scheduling exams, and coordinating patient transport.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and general office practices.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.
High school diploma or equivalent.
ARDMS certification required.
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
