Pay Rate: $48–$52/hour (based on experience)
Travel/Weekly: Up to $67/hour; Weekly: $2,512.50
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations per physician orders and departmental protocols
Verify patient identity and review medical history to ensure appropriate imaging procedures
Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and cooperation during exams
Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment for optimal image quality
Analyze sonographic findings and ensure completeness of studies for physician interpretation
Perform required measurements and calculations according to established guidelines
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff
Identify and report any abnormalities or urgent findings to the appropriate provider
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Ensure proper care, cleaning, and minor maintenance of ultrasound equipment
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Assist with training and mentoring new staff when needed
Support scheduling, patient flow, and departmental operations as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred
Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment
