Salary Range: $38.52/hr – $55.26/hr (based on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health (RN) to lead the operations of an inpatient behavioral health unit. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and staff development while meeting clinical, financial, and patient satisfaction goals.
Oversee daily operations of the Behavioral Health department (24/7 coverage).
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Joint Commission and hospital policies.
Manage staffing operations, including scheduling, staffing ratios, and productivity.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient satisfaction outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams.
Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and resource utilization.
Ensure safe, therapeutic care for adult and geriatric populations.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional guidance to nursing staff.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Licensure:
Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required
CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) – required within 90 days of hire
Minimum 3–5 years of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience in an acute care setting
Minimum 1–3 years of leadership experience (Charge RN, Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager)
Prior experience managing clinical teams and hospital operations preferred
