Position: Cardiology – Echocardiography (Echo) Technician
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8–10 hour shifts (7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM), rotating days
Pay Rate: $65 – $69 per hour
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Cardiology – Echocardiography (Echo) Technician for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain relevant patient history, position patients, and select appropriate ultrasonic techniques.
Perform 2-D, M-Mode, Pulse/Continuous Wave, and Color Doppler echocardiography.
Prepare preliminary interpretations as needed.
Conduct emergency studies as required.
Maintain echo lab records and patient charges.
Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain accreditation standards (ICAEL).
Ensure proper cleaning and restocking of equipment and rooms.
Adapt care based on patient age, condition, and specific needs.
Assist with special ultrasound procedures, including transesophageal echocardiograms.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients in a fast-paced environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) from ARDMS or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) from CCI required.
1–2 years of echocardiography experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
All certifications must be current and active.
