Location: Ocala, FL

Position Type: Permanent

Shifts Available:

  • Days (Rotating Weekends)

  • Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience)

  • Shift Differentials:

    • Nights: +$4.25/hr

    • Weekends: +$3.00/hr

  • Sign-On Bonus: Not Available

  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated MICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This role involves caring for critically ill patients and requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to manage complex medical conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care following established nursing standards and protocols.

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical conditions.

  • Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.

  • Accurately document all aspects of patient care.

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.

  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.

  • Promote patient safety and advocate for patients and families.

  • Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years).

  • ICU or high-acuity experience preferred; strong Med/Surg background considered.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if relocating).

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – required within 30 days (AHA).

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required within 90 days.

Education:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
