We are seeking a dedicated MICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This role involves caring for critically ill patients and requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to manage complex medical conditions in a fast-paced environment.
Deliver direct patient care following established nursing standards and protocols.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical conditions.
Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.
Accurately document all aspects of patient care.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
Promote patient safety and advocate for patients and families.
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years).
ICU or high-acuity experience preferred; strong Med/Surg background considered.
Licensure & Certifications:
Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (must obtain Florida license within 60 days if relocating).
BLS (Basic Life Support) – required within 30 days (AHA).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required within 90 days.
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
