Senior Application Programmer – Power Platform Developer

Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Primarily Remote – U.S.)
Duration: 2 Years

Position Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a Senior Application Programmer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and compliant applications that modernize workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Pages, Power Automate, Dataverse, SQL, and Power BI.

  • Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and external systems via APIs.

  • Implement security, role-based access control, and governance policies; ensure compliance with regulations and accessibility standards.

  • Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

  • Evaluate and implement emerging Power Platform capabilities, including AI-driven automation.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, reusable technical solutions and maintain documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI).

  • Strong SQL, data modeling, and application lifecycle management skills.

  • Experience with security models, data governance, and Dev/Test/Prod environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Copilot Studio or conversational AI, Microsoft SQL Server, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.

  • Experience in public sector or regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD for Power Platform and relevant Microsoft certifications.

Work Environment

  • Primarily remote with potential onsite requirements in Louisiana.

  • Core hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Time; occasional weekends or holidays may be required.

  • Compliance with HIPAA, IRS Publication 1075, and strict data protection protocols required.
