Duration: 11 Weeks (Contract, with possibility of extension)
Shift: 5x8s (Shift timing may vary based on department needs; to be discussed during interview)
Local Pay: $4,000 – $5,000/week (based on experience)
Travel Pay: $4,600 – $5,600/week (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Travel Perfusionist to join a high-acuity cardiac team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing complex cardiac procedures, including ECMO support, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, emergent environment.
Operate heart-lung machines and associated perfusion equipment during cardiac procedures.
Independently assist with ECMO cannulation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Manage ECMO support, including ECMO transport (required).
Support emergent and high-risk cardiac surgeries with precision and efficiency.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
Minimum 5 years of perfusion experience.
Proven ability to work in fast-paced, emergent cardiac cases.
ECMO transport experience (mandatory).
Experience with EPIC (minimum 1 year required).
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Certification as a Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
