Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Hourly Rate: $82.33/hr
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,963.88
Weekly Stipend: $1,595.88
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care using the nursing process, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Utilize the nursing process to provide safe and effective patient care.
Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social).
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Communicate patient status and care plans with healthcare team members.
Function effectively in a charge nurse role when required.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Serve as a resource for staff education, orientation, and patient care guidance.
Participate in staff meetings, mandatory training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies.
Continuously update clinical knowledge and maintain professional development records.
Deliver excellent patient-centered care to patients, families, and staff.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience.
At least 1 year of ER travel experience.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required.
Strong skills in IV therapy, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Successful completion of pharmacology and arrhythmia exams (as required).
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
De-escalation certification
