Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Care (Home Health)
Location: New York, NY 10004
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 37.5 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend Required
Shift: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Pay Rate: $74 – $78 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality adult care services in a home health setting. The RN will deliver comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal recovery outcomes in accordance with established clinical standards.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Deliver direct nursing care, including pre- and post-operative support
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Perform clinical procedures such as IV therapy, wound care, catheterization, and dressing changes
Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes in patient condition
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Adhere to all nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
Minimum of two (2) years of Med/Surg experience in an acute or post-acute care setting
Recent clinical experience within the past 12 months
Prior home health experience with independent patient visits required
Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration
Experience with telemetry monitoring and post-operative care
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited institution
Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred/if applicable
