Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic outpatient healthcare team in Alaska. This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals across all age groups—from infants to geriatric patients.

The RN will apply the full nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and culturally sensitive care. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate patient care in accordance with established clinical standards

  • Administer medications and treatments; assist with diagnostic procedures including basic EKG

  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Supervise and support clinical staff such as Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) and Unit Secretaries

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities

  • Ensure culturally competent care while addressing age-specific patient needs


Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (NLN-approved preferred)

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alaska (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (outpatient or clinical setting preferred)

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Experience with medical equipment such as EKG and cystoscopy preferred

  • Proficiency in standard clinical systems and office software

  • COVID-19 vaccination required
