RN House Supervisor – Contract Opportunity

Location: New York, NY 10035
Pay Rate: $70 – $71/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 5 Days/Week + Alternating Weekends
Shift: Evening (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Hours: 40 hours/week


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide leadership and administrative oversight during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and supporting seamless hospital operations. The House Supervisor serves as a key liaison between clinical staff, physicians, and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee hospital operations and patient care delivery during assigned shifts

  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing and support staff

  • Ensure proper staffing levels based on patient acuity

  • Act as a clinical and administrative resource for staff

  • Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

  • Respond to patient care issues, emergencies, and staffing challenges

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

  • Support patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts

  • Assist with patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges

  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and operations

  • Facilitate communication across departments

  • Promote a safe, efficient, and professional care environment


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) – Required

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New York State

  • BLS (AHA) – Required

  • ACLS (AHA) – Required

  • PALS (AHA) – Required

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of acute care supervisory experience

  • Strong background in hospital operations and staff leadership

  • Knowledge of regulatory and patient safety standards
