Location: New York, NY 10035
Pay Rate: $70 – $71/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 5 Days/Week + Alternating Weekends
Shift: Evening (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Hours: 40 hours/week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide leadership and administrative oversight during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and supporting seamless hospital operations. The House Supervisor serves as a key liaison between clinical staff, physicians, and leadership.
Oversee hospital operations and patient care delivery during assigned shifts
Provide leadership and supervision to nursing and support staff
Ensure proper staffing levels based on patient acuity
Act as a clinical and administrative resource for staff
Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Respond to patient care issues, emergencies, and staffing challenges
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Support patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts
Assist with patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and operations
Facilitate communication across departments
Promote a safe, efficient, and professional care environment
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) – Required
Licensure & Certifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New York State
BLS (AHA) – Required
ACLS (AHA) – Required
PALS (AHA) – Required
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of acute care supervisory experience
Strong background in hospital operations and staff leadership
Knowledge of regulatory and patient safety standards
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage operations in a fast-paced environment
Skilled in handling emergencies and critical situations
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and compliance
