Shift Details

Mixed Shift Schedule:

  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $58.15/hr – $73.56/hr (based on experience)

  • Evening Differential: $3/hr

  • Night Differential: $6/hr

  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

  • Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)

Position Summary

A healthcare facility in Panama City, FL is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an acute care hospital setting. The Clinical Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for patients.

The role includes medication order verification, clinical consultation, monitoring of drug therapy, and participation in pharmacy operations to support high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and verify medication orders in the pharmacy system

  • Compound and dispense medications accurately and safely

  • Monitor drug therapy for interactions, allergies, contraindications, and appropriate dosing

  • Provide medication information and consultation to healthcare providers and patients

  • Participate in clinical pharmacy services including pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation monitoring, renal dosing, and pain management

  • Maintain hospital formulary standards and promote evidence-based medication practices

  • Document clinical interventions and medication-related activities

  • Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions according to policy

  • Support pharmacy department operations and supervise pharmacy technicians when required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy through the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Clinical Pharmacist experience in an acute care hospital setting (within the last year)
