Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN)
Location: Utica, New York

Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Night Shift (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $38 – $42 per hour
Important:
Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius to qualify for the travel rate.
Travel or housing reimbursements are not provided.
A healthcare facility in Utica, NY is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) to provide hands-on patient care and support the clinical team in delivering high-quality healthcare services.
The LPN will assist in monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort while working collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Unit Size: 40 Beds
Patient Population:
Medical-Surgical
Orthopedic
Dementia Care
Memory Care
Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and patient health conditions
Administer basic treatments and medications as directed by healthcare providers
Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily care needs
Monitor patient status and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation
Support interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Follow all infection control, safety, and clinical care protocols
Float to other units within the same building as required
Minimum 1 year of hospital or clinical experience
Active New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) License
Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Experience with PointClickCare Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Every other weekend required
Must be able to float to all units within the same building
Experience working with medical-surgical, orthopedic, and memory care patients preferred
