Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join a radiology team for a 13-week assignment in a tertiary care hospital setting. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
Prepare patients for radiologic examinations and explain procedures
Operate X-ray equipment while maintaining radiation safety protocols
Ensure accurate image capture and quality for physician interpretation
Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support patient care
Follow departmental policies, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures
Requirements:
Active X-Ray Technologist license at the time of assignment start
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Minimum 1 year of X-ray / radiologic technologist experience
Experience with EPIC charting system required
Additional Information:
Weekend shifts included as part of the schedule
Local candidates accepted if meeting facility requirements
Flexibility may be required during the contract duration
