"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer (Echo Technologist) to join a cardiac diagnostic imaging team in Milford, Delaware. In this role, you will perform a variety of echocardiographic and cardiac diagnostic procedures, providing high-quality imaging that assists physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.
Perform a comprehensive range of echocardiography procedures, including:
Transthoracic 2-D Echocardiography
M-Mode and Color-Flow Doppler studies
Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Exercise Stress and Pharmacological Echocardiography
Conduct additional cardiac diagnostic testing such as EKG, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress testing.
Operate and maintain specialized cardiac diagnostic equipment including echocardiographs, electrocardiographs, and cardiac stress testing systems.
Ensure accurate documentation, scheduling, and billing using hospital information systems.
Follow infection control guidelines and proper equipment sterilization protocols.
Provide age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Serve as a clinical resource for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff.
Assist with clinical education and preceptorship for students participating in training programs.
High School Diploma or GED
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or equivalent certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Completion of an accredited echocardiography certification program or minimum 2 years of hands-on echocardiography experience.
Extensive experience performing echocardiography in a hospital setting.
Experience with pediatric and neonatal echocardiography.
Formal training or certificate in Cardiovascular Sonography.
