Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Shift: Day Shift | 5×8 Hours
Pay:
Travel: $2,689/week
Local: $2,250/week
Job Overview:
A healthcare facility in Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
Operate mammography equipment and produce high-quality images
Position patients properly and ensure comfort during procedures
Follow physician orders and imaging protocols
Maintain radiation safety and department guidelines
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
Perform routine quality checks on imaging equipment
Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Hologic mammography equipment
Experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging center
Active ARRT Mammography Certification
New York State Radiologic Technologist License or eligibility
