  • Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Compensation

  • Local Rate: $2,362.50 per week

  • Travel Rate: $2,635.50 per week


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care hospital setting. The MRI Technologist will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging, maintain patient safety, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans including chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (with and without contrast), spine, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging

  • Prepare and administer contrast media and initiate peripheral IVs as required

  • Follow infection control and isolation protocols in accordance with hospital standards

  • Operate MRI imaging equipment from various manufacturers such as Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba

  • Utilize PACS systems and document imaging procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures

  • Float to other qualified units based on patient census and departmental needs


Required Qualifications

  • ARRT (MR) Certification – Required

  • BLS Certification – Required

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience in an acute care or outpatient setting

  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with adult and pediatric patient populations

  • Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers

  • Familiarity with multiple MRI platforms and advanced imaging techniques
