Job Title: Rehabilitation Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Travel Rate: $2,836/week
Shift Information:
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends or 4 weekend days within the 13-week contract
Holiday Requirement: Occasional holidays may be required
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Rehabilitation Physical Therapist (PT) for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate new patients and establish measurable treatment goals
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans
Perform diagnostic testing of muscles, nerves, joints, and functional abilities
Administer therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities
Re-evaluate patients regularly and adjust treatment plans based on progress
Maintain accurate clinical documentation of patient care and outcomes
Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures and home programs
Communicate patient progress and discharge planning with physicians and healthcare staff
Provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), aides, and students
Follow departmental policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
Participate in meetings, training, and professional development activities
Maintain daily patient activity statistics and therapy charges
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Active Physical Therapist License – Massachusetts
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Strong documentation and patient care skills
Effective communication skills in English
Experience with adult and pediatric rehabilitation patients preferred
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
